First Show Appearance: To Mock a Killing Bird Played by: Callie Mauldin Darling was the darling of the 1940's Women's International Entertaining Tennis League until she suffered a nervous breakdown. Darling's subgroup of the Women's International Entertaining Tennis League, the "Ball Heads," provided tennis-inspired dance numbers to millions of fans. Sadly, her tennis racquet now acts as her security blanket, and a constant reminder of her long-lost tennis fame. She makes a humble living providing tennis-dance lessons to would-be tennis entertainers.
