Zesty Bevelaqua
Former Child Star

First Show Appearance: To Mock a Killing Bird
Played by: J'Mel Davidson

Most people remember Zesty from his childhood role of Tangy Leghorn, sassy next door neighbor on the hit sitcom Somebody’s Cooking Something! where his popular catchphrase became more popular than the show itself. During his late teens and early twenties, Zesty fought to shake his child star image by appearing in a series of made for straight to video movies with Wings Hauser, Powers Boothe, and Jan Michael Vincent where he mostly played strung out junkies, the snitch with the heart of gold, or in some cases, the gay cellist cum power hungry villain (Tango and Cash: The Next Generation). Zesty has finally reached a place in his life where he's living comfortably from his Catchphrase residuals and he feels that he can return to situation comedy, only now as the father of the sassy kids!
