James Maitland Stewart (Jimmy Stewart) is an actor, artist and American icon, whose contributions to the cinematic landscape are unparalleled. Most noted for his famous collaborations with Frank Capra, Stewart starred in You Can't Take it With You (1938), Mr. Smith Goes to Washington (1939), and, after World War II, It's a Wonderful Life (1946).

Stewart faked his death in 1997 to avoid a severe gambling debt and cryogenically froze himself with along with Robert Mitchum, Mother Teresa and Jacques Cousteau. He was the only person to survive the de-freezing process.
