First Show Appearance: To Mock a Killing Bird Played by: Christopher Davis Jedidiah Yoder is a simple Amish man with joy in his heart and a bit of dandruff in his beard. His closer-to-God-than-most beard. He refers to himself sometimes as "Progressive Amish". Jedidiah realizes the world is changing and even if it pains him, maybe he and the Amish community will be better off if they change just a little with it. Jedidiah someday hopes to raise the roof as well as raise the barn.
