First Show Appearance: To Mock a Killing Bird Played by: Debbie Smith Esmeralda is the fourth of nine daughters. She is a third-string nit-picker at the Acme Fabric Plant and has been there 38 years. She lives with her 99-year-old mother and has 5 cats. She has never been on a date. In her spare time, she sits and stares out a window. She once thought about taking a vacation, and is seriously considering purchasing a fichus tree, if it's not too expensive, or time-consuming.
