Scott Gordon
Journeyman Level Improvisor

Hailing from the frozen tundra of Wisconsin's Door Peninsula, Scott was transplanted to the deep south as a wee child, where he swiftly developed a preternatural appreciation for biscuits and passive-aggressive behavior. He attended Big Tradition University in Tuscaloosa in the 90's and acquired a ludicrously expensive piece of wall art, also known as a "film degree." After finishing his schoolin', Scott squandered his degree and began writing and publishing poetry, also know as "perpetual poverty." Editor of the nationally lauded Staplegun Press (1997-2004), Scott eventually fell into a sordid relationship with Slam Poetry, even performing at the National Poetry Slam in 1999 & 2000 as part of the Birmingham Poetry Slam Team. Then in 2009, he foolishly decided to try his hand at stand-up comedy, and got hooked on the elusive drug of audience laughter. Hundreds of shows, a YouTube channel (Contact Buzz Comedy), and a podcast (BS Artists) followed. And now, after a decade of experience in the fast-paced, cutthroat world that is Birmingham stand-up comedy, he’s throwing his tattered, misshapen and kinda stinky hat into the bizarre and mysterious realm of improv with ETC. He has no acting experience! He's old! He's kinda stupid! What could possibly go wrong?
